Cartoon Network
Methinks political cartoonists are the new WMDs.That's right. I'm pretty sure that these guys just started WWIII without even knowing it. The sad thing is, the cartoons weren't even THAT funny. Clearly, we have a mathematical dissonance between the dish it/take it ratio for radical Islam. We are actually studying this in my International Communication class, and the verdict is that these protesters are crazy (as per usual). I think Protest Warrior needs to get on the scene, ASAP.-Jeffucious

Many protestors never even saw the cartoons. Some of the protests occurred in countries which didn't publish them. Crazy? For sure.
One thing which is offensive about them that the average person might not know its that it is forbidden in Islam to make images of the Prophet (at all, esp not with a turban of a bomb. Not that this justifies all of this craziness.)
Crazier still? THese were first published in Denmark last September, they were republished in Norway I think it was this January. Obviously someone is using it to incite violence. I'm just glad for once it's not Americans angering them.
I gotta say, guys. This site is a great idea.
Quick correction to the above comment: Only one branch of Islam is really militant about prohibiting any depiction of the Prophet. The current outcry is mostly due to the suggestion that the Prophet was an insane, malicious hatemonger. So I can understand the objection, even though I find it dreadfully ironic that the Muslim community has, by and large, responded by playing directly into the stereotype that produced the cartoons in the first place.
